Hi, this is a message for Faisal who came out to help me last night with my Volvo XC40. He asked me if I would mind leaving a review, so here it is. Please feel free to put it on your website or Facebook or whatever. I’m more than happy to endorse your business.
When I picked up my new Volvo XC40, the first thing I did was take it to the Sainsbury’s fuel station in Coventry on my way home so that I could take it for a long drive the next day. As I had previously owned a petrol Volvo S60, I just picked up the petrol nozzle without thinking and filled up the XC40 with petrol. The problem being, the XC40 has a diesel engine. I didn’t even notice until I tried to start the car and the engine wouldn’t turn over. It slowly dawned on me what I’d done to my new car and my heart sank. I thought the engine would be ruined and I’d have to fork out for a new one just after spending a fortune to buy the car in the first place! Thankfully the guy in the forecourt shop was a bit more “on the ball” than me and he gave me a card for Fuel Medic. I wasn’t aware of the fact that mobile wrong fuel removal services were available up until this point and it almost seemed too good to be true. I spoke to Andy on the phone and he was brilliant. He told me that there was no problem and the car would be running again in no time. Faisal turned up in the Fuel Medic van and got to work with an assortment of sophisticated looking equipment that was quickly connected up to my XC40. He had the petrol pumped out of the tank in about 20 minutes and he also did an engine flush and put in some diesel. The engine started straight away with no coughing or wheezing. It ran just as when I’d driven it out of the dealership. I have since learned that the AA would have charged me more than double what Fuel Medic charged me to solve the problem and getting a local garage to do it was just astronomically expensive. Fuel Medic were fast, cheap and did the job really well. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else who needs a petrol in diesel removal company in Coventry. Top marks all round.
